We are open and just celebrated our 20th anniversary! We are considered an essential support business, and as such, have increased our cleaning and disinfecting practices accordingly. We no longer keep leashes (so we don't share germs – only you have your hands on it), have limited the lobby to one person at a time, and established distance protocols. Our staff is wearing masks, keeping 6 feet from each other, maintaining proper hygiene, and we have sneeze guards up for checkout and payment – though we encourage you to call and pay over the phone. No one is allowed to work if they are sick. We are following all guidelines set up by the CDC and the State task force. • You may have heard there have been a couple confirmed cases in the world of a dog contracting Covid-19. These were in homes of infected family members. Luckily, dogs only seem to have mild symptoms and based on all current research, they do not pose a threat of transmitting the disease to humans or other dogs. Per the CDC, "At this time, there is no evidence that companion animals, including pets, can spread COVID-19 or that they might be a source of infection in the United States." • If you have any specific questions or concerns, please email Joel at email@example.com
Happy Dogz will be closed if UW-MADISON closes for snow or icy conditions, but not due to freezing temperatures.
